Just a few of the issues at stake are: Insurance is often not what you think, overhead in a modern dental practice can run as high as 80%, and pricing for lab work varies with quality. For the record we choose to have our lab work done here in the U.S. – it’s more expensive but the quality is second to none. Hopefully when it comes to your healthcare, you won’t choose inferior quality to save a few dollars. After all, none of us would ask a heart surgeon for a cut rate deal by substituting cheaper parts would we?
